Director of Client Strategy
LISI
Almost one year into the pandemic, on a cold day at the end of January 2021, Kristyn received a message on LinkedIn that LISI was looking for the next key member of their team: Director of Client Strategy.
Almost one year into the pandemic, on a cold day at the end of January 2021, Kristyn received a message on LinkedIn that LISI was looking for the next key member of their team: Director of Client Strategy.
After exploring the role and meeting the LISI team, Kristyn decided to leave the comfort of an in-house marketing role and reach a wider audience of firms with an agency role.
A modern Renaissance woman with a passion for performing arts, Kristyn followed a winding road to legal marketing. In her first job at Sullivan & Worcester LLP as a Conference Center Coordinator, she used her technical theater skills to operate audio and visual equipment, and to plan law firm events, which turned out to be similar to theatrical productions. Over time, Kristyn’s interest in marketing and business development grew. She loved that as with theater, marketing required constant learning, growth, and creativity, and no two days were the same.
Kristyn continued her marketing career at some of Boston’s top law firms, supporting attorneys in becoming better revenue generators. In 2018, she accepted the challenge of running the show as a solo marketer for Conn Kavanaugh where she increased the firm’s visibility through amplified thought leadership efforts, digital and social marketing campaigns, an enhanced brand strategy, and internal communication initiatives.
At LISI, as Director of Client Strategy, Kristyn becomes a member of her client’s team, applying both her experience in Big Law and her in-house, solo marketer perspective to create actionable strategies. Kristyn’s background in visual and performing art taught her to improvise, multi-task, and adapt. She draws on this background, along with her experience in marketing technology, business development, and digital marketing to craft a blueprint for client success.
In addition to her role at LISI, Kristyn sits on the Legal Marketing Association Northeast Region Board of Directors as a Director-at-Large. She lives and breathes social media, always learning about new platforms, and regularly posts silly videos on TikTok and Instagram. When she’s not in front of a screen, she chases her two fluffy cats and bratty dog around the house, and finds any excuse to get outside.
